Recording credit card charges

A credit card charge is a cash purchase made with a credit card.

Sample Credit Card Charge

The only difference between a cash purchase and a credit card charge is that the payment method is defaulted to credit card.

This is how it works:
  • Just like the cash purchase, the credit card charge updates inventory (when applicable) the moment it is saved.
  • The credit card charge will credit and debit the total amount to accounts payable, leaving the vendor balance unchanged.
