One of the improvements over Small Business Accounting 2006 is that you can customize the form including which fields appear on which tab. This means that you can have your custom fields appear on the general or details tab along with the other information, rather than on the User-Defined Fields tab.
In order to change the layout, click the Modify Layout button on the toolbar.

This is how it works:
- Select the Tab you want to customize
- Pick the section you want to change (top left, top right, bottom or left, right)
- Add or remove fields and group headers (shown as bold) or move the fields up or down
- A field can only appear on one tab
- You can add new group headers
- Click preview to see the change or OK to save it. The layout will be saved with a name, so you can have multiple layouts (e.g. different users can use different layouts if needed).
